Co-Founder and CSO

Nate leads science and innovation for Plenty’s cutting-edge vertical farm technologies. He has extensive experience in plant production and equipment design, and drives Plenty’s ground-breaking plant science to deliver industry leading yields of delicious fresh fruits and vegetables.

Prior to Plenty, he founded Bright Agrotech, an agriculture company that created hardware, software and services to advance the indoor and vertical agriculture industries.

Nate received his Ph.D. in Agronomy from the University of Wyoming with an emphasis in vertical plane hydroponic production. He also received his Bachelor’s and Masters of Science degrees in Agriculture Science from the University of Wyoming.
